The mission of the Binational Border Health Thematic Network is to integrate capabilities of individuals and organizations in the public, private and social sector of the Border States in order to contribute to the response of common challenges in Public Health conditions along the Mexico-United States border..
Coordinate efforts to reinforce effects and results.
In the Network, we create the coordination of efforts of agents and health initiativesdeveloping within the region in order to reinforce their effects and results.
Contribute to the strengthening and implementation of health public policies.
One of the Network’s purposes is to contribute to the strengthening and implementation of public policies in Binational Public Health, as well as results in improvements in the quality of life of the border population and immigrants.
Promote the implementation of health initiatives for the border.
Contribute to the implementation of health initiatives with longer reach in the region; therefore, more impact on the implementation and strengthening of health public policies for decision-making with high impact on the community.
Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of health priorities at the border.
Contribute to the diagnosis and implementation of health priorities along the Mexico-United States border region contained in the program Healthy Border 2020.
Collaborate in the creation and implementation of training, development and training programs.
Contribute to strengthening the abilities of health professionals, researchers and students in the region through the creation and implementation of training and development programs, and training of human resources of high quality in the medium and long term.
Promote binational communication, coordination, and cooperation.
Contribute to the improvement of binationalcommunication, coordination, and cooperation in events of mutual interest.
