Objectives

 

GENERAL OBJETIVE

Integrate the abilities of individuals and organizations in the public, private, and social sector of the Border States to contribute to the improvement of common challenges in public health conditions at the Mexico-United States border from the priorities established in the program Healthy Border 2020.

 

To promote the collaboration among individuals and organizations in the public, private, and social sector of the ten Border States.

To contribute to the creation and documentation of knowledge with the analysis and evaluation of public health problems affecting the border population of both countries.

To propose and evaluate the guidelines and/or procedures to the attention of identified health problems.

To contribute to the development and training of human resources involved in various activities of public health in the region.

To contribute to the modernization and strengthening of information systems to have tools that support public health policies adopted in the border region Mexico-United States.

To develop mechanisms for scientific dissemination and transfer of knowledge created by the network.

To promote cross-cutting links with other thematic networks.
