On July 23 of this year, at 12 noon, the first virtual work meeting of the northwestern node of the Binational Border Health Thematic Network (BBHTN) 1 was held, with the following participants:

- Jill Guernsey de Zapien,
- Alicia Harvey Vera,
- Jaime Arredondo,
- Raquel Muñiz,
- María Luisa Zúñiga and
- Isabel Ortega Vélez.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the topic of the Network selection process, as well as to review the 2018 Work Plan and to organize the work as a node, in this meeting the communication links were strengthened, workloads were divided and the direction to make invitations to new participants of the network was planned, the network being a link and having a strong influence on the collaborations.
