Last Wednesday, September 26, 2018, the sixth Annual Meeting of the Consejo Asesor de Ventanillas de Salud, took place at the facilities of the Mexican Cultural Institute in Mexico’s Embassy in Washington, DC, organized by the Institute of Mexicans Abroad (IME) and the Ministry of Health (Secretaría de Salud (SSA), where researchers from the Binational Border Health Thematic Network (BBHTN) attended, PhD. Maria Gudelia Rangel, Cecilia Rosales and Ricardo Hirata.
The purpose of this meeting was to present the members of the Consejo Asesor with the development of Ventanillas de Salud (VDS) strategy in the current administration, as well as to review strategies for strengthening the VDS.
